We are delighted to announce that Citygreen is a Principal Donor for the Landscape Foundation of Australia (LFA). Our donation targets the Foundation’s ‘Investing in Knowledge’ strategic priority, supporting grants and in-kind contributions to projects and research that will inform future practice, policy development, and decision making.

This strategic partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both organizations to foster a more climate-resilient future for Australian urban landscapes.

The Landscape Foundation of Australia, a non-profit organization, focuses on the protection, restoration, and sustainable management of natural environments in urban landscapes. With nearly 90% of Australians living in cities, the Foundation’s mission is critical in addressing the environmental challenges posed by urbanization.

Noel Corkery, Principal of the LFA, shared his thoughts on the collaboration:
“Citygreen’s expertise in urban greening solutions complements our efforts in research, policy development, and community engagement. Together, we aim to create greener, cooler, and more liveable cities.”

Both Citygreen Systems and the LFA share a vision of a more climate-resilient future. By combining their resources and expertise, they hope to mitigate the impacts of climate change, restore ecological systems, and enhance community health and wellbeing. This partnership marks a significant step towards achieving sustainable urban environments for future generations.

Ben Gooden, CEO of Citygreen Systems, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership:
“We are very optimistic about this partnership with LFA. Our vision of a world where sustainable green space is within reach of every person, every day, fully aligns with LFA’s focus on people and nature in Australian cities.”
