Flexible multilayer modules
The intermediate layer will help distribute water and nutrition effectively throughout the living wall keeping stress to the newly placed plants to a minimum in the first stage of planting. The exterior layer avoids water retention, through specifically designed fibres allowing air to pass through to the root system of the plants imitating natural growing conditions.
Remote Control Monitoring
Advanced automated system with remote internet control access for controlling the moisture, the temperature, ph levels and the conductivity of the system.
The flow and the automated refilling of the water tanks can also be controlled remotely.
Integrated Ecosystem
The system was designed to allow the root system to create a fourth layer between the exterior and intermediate layers.
This means that the size of the plant won´t be affected by the size of the living wall pocket. Therefore the growth of the plants can be managed by the amount of fertilizer and pruning applied.
Recirculated Irrigation System
The Citygreen Living Wall system has the optional feature of recycling water to minimise our scarce resources going to waste.
Fire Resistance
The system is currently tested to European Standards and is undergoing tests to Australian Standards to ensure safe building practices.
Designed for Hot climates
The Citygreen Living Wall system has been tested at the University of Seville for increased water holding capacity for very hot climates.
